Edged Weapons Combat
As any fight unfolds from moment to moment, the fighters will always be in one of eight types of predicaments. One may be forced to access which then becomes a knife-to-knife duel often pressing into close quarters exchanges where counter-striking, traps, disarms, and struggles occur. Those tactical predicaments are supplemented with Take-downs and Anti-Grappling.

Empty Hands Knife Defense
EHKD approaches this multi-facted task by first developing one’s protective skill and only then adding counter-striking until your attacker is sufficiently injured to safely grab his weapon-arm and effect a disarm. Disarming is followed up with takedowns and/or control, and recovery of the weapon.
